SCHOOL PROJECTS:
Software Engineering:
Developed a Virtual Network Environment that allows users to interact via a public and or
private network in a virtual 3-d realm. The program was written in C++ on a Linux platform. A QT graphical interface, Open Scene Graph, and Unix sockets were employed on this project.
Senior Project:
Developed GPS tracking system for a NASA high altitude balloon to be launched in May,
2008. The software consist of a Graphical User Interface that employed a secure network
Connection that transmits GPS and scientific data to a user on the ground. The tracking system shows the current position of the satellite by use of the NASA WorldWind Java package. The GUI displays photometer, magnetometer, temperature, and timestamps in real time. The language of the software is in Java.
